Donald is a leadership coach, consultant, and adjunct professor of entrepreneurship at Olin College of Engineering. His career spans both the corporate and non-profit sectors, providing him with a unique perspective on organizational leadership and social impact.
He began his career in technology, working at two of the largest telecommunications companies in the world before moving to a small, VC-backed organization that supplied talent to technology companies. Donald played a key role in building the company into a national organization, capitalizing on the tech boom of the 1990s.
After years in the corporate world, he transitioned to mission-driven work, spending 12 years in leadership roles at Year Up United and two years at the GreenLight Fund. While at Year Up United, he was a member of the leadership team that scaled the organization tenfold over a decade.
These non-profit experiences sharpened his focus on addressing systemic inequities faced by marginalized communities. Now, as a coach and consultant, Donald draws on his diverse background to support leaders and organizations in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors.
Donald is passionate about using a variety of tools and approaches to solve challenges. His broad experience across nearly all aspects of business, combined with his constant curiosity about improving problem-solving methods, makes him a unique thought partner for his clients.
